Xibo is an advanced open source digital signage platform for Windows & Ubuntu, with a custom built content management system at its heart. Xibo for Android builds on the display clients already offered by the Xibo Project and aims itself specifically at low cost Android Devices.
Spring Signage is the developer and sponsor of the Xibo Project and Xibo for Android will enable us to keep the Xibo CMS, two clients and API free and open to everyone in the future.
Xibo for Android will run on any device with Android 4.1 or higher. Please make use of the 14 day trial period to test with your intended device and ensure that Xibo for Android runs to your satisfaction before purchase. Recommended devices can be found in the FAQ.
Xibo for Android is available for download for a 14 day no obligation free trial. To continue using Xibo for Android after the trial a licence must be purchased. The licence covers the current version of the application (1.4) and any minor updates. This licence is for Xibo for Android and not the Xibo CMS, which is open source and available from the Xibo Project. Licences are automatically checked every 30 days.
Licenses are available in “bundles” which offer excellent discount for bulk purchasing. The price of a single licence is £15.00 GBP.

Offline Licensing Module
Xibo for Android clients require a valid internet connection to the Spring Signage Licensing Service every 30 days to validate their licence. Under certain circumstances it may be preferable or required to validate licences on a Local Network.
The Offline Licensing Module is available to manage licences through the Xibo CMS installation instead of the Spring Signage Licensing Service.
When using this module the network administrator sends a licence key file to Spring Signage each time a new client licence is issued. This key is returned and loaded into the Licensing Module to validate the client licences.
The Wireless Adaptor on the device must be enabled during the first license check, but can be disabled thereafter.
A charge of £150 per Xibo CMS installation is applicable for this service. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and arrange payment.
